| CFB Round 2 Expert Street |
| The expert street class had about 45 riders in it and there
were some pretty good stunts being thrown down by a couple of the lads. Qualifying
and the finals were owned by 15 year old Scott Krane from New Jersey. This kid
just destroyed everybody, huge wallrides to barspin out, big flips over the box, manuals
on top of the 8 foot tall wall, superman seat-grabs, and high speed flow throughout the
course. Matt Sparks took second place honors with a wallride to tailwhip and
handplant over the spine in his qualifying run, and some 360 tailwhip and flair attempts
in the finals. Some lad named Robbie qualified second but ended up with third in the
finals. He was doing big tailwhips off a quarter onto a wedge, big icepicks on the
subbox thing, and a truckdriver over the streetspine. Josh Steir rode well in the
finals with some cool manual lines, a bottom side icepick on the subbox thing, and a big
fufanu on the side of a rail off of a wedge ramp. He also did a fakie walltap to the
delight of his friends. Kris Marcum was doing perfect wallrides to 360 out and tried
some smith walltaps to 360 out. He also did a nice 540. Orlando from Chicago
was doing a bunch of tech stuff on the miniramp's subbox and on various quarters.
Sprocket to peg to more pegs to fakie, and stuff like that. Ron Thomas rode well in
qualifying and missed the finals by just one placing. He did some nohanders, barspin
tailtaps, and a tailwhip transfer from the spine to the box landing.

![]() Stewy drove to the contest with me, but took a bus home so his friend Matt wouldn't have to ride home alone after Sparks ditched him. He got like 33rd place or something, but it wasn't bad for his first big contest, then he went back to our local park and learned tailwhips the next day. |
